I am a chemist and got my doctoral degree in 2012 in a joint-supervision between the UNESP-Brazil and UPS-11-France. Then, I spent three years in Germany as postdoc doing operando X-ray absorption and emission spectroscopy for catalysts, sensors and electrochemical cells. In March 2015 I joined CENA-USP. Here we are employing X-rays to investigate the chemical environment of the elements in the agri-environmental context.

Dr. Eduardo de Almeida
Associate Researcher
I got my bachelor in chemistry from UNICAMP in 1998. My master and doctoral’s degrees were obtained at (CENA-USP, in 2001 and 2011, respectively. I have mainly been working with the X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF) embracing the sample preparation and the XRF analysis. Nowadays, besides the previous expertise, I have dedicated a time for studies about diffusive gradients in thin films (DGT) sampling technique and nanomaterial uses in agriculture.
